Becks Prime Celebrates 36 Years in Houston

Becks Prime has partnered with local non-profit Trees for Houston in celebration of its 36th milestone anniversary. Birthday activities will take place Thursday and Friday, September 16th and 17th with milkshakes, donations from burgers sold, and seedling giveaways.

“With 2020 delaying our 35th anniversary celebrations, we wanted to take the opportunity to honor year 36 in a way that gives back not only to our customers, but to our community as a whole,” said Molly Voorhees, President of Becks Prime. “Trees for Houston has always been very special to me personally and professionally as an organization that protects trees throughout the Houston area. The oak trees at our Augusta location are over 400 years old and we thought this would be a wonderful partnership to help promote their hard work and dedication.”

On Thursday, September 16, all 11 Becks Prime locations in Houston and Dallas will offer complimentary dessert-sized “birthday” vanilla milkshakes topped with sprinkles. These will be available with the purchase of any Becks Prime burger along with the code word “happy birthday” at checkout.

On Friday, September 17, Becks Prime will donate $1 for every burger sold to local non-profit Trees for Houston. Additionally, Trees for Houston volunteers will be handing out 1,080 seedlings at three Becks Prime locations across Houston, 360 seedlings at each site, to honor the 36th anniversary. The complimentary seedlings will be available at the following Becks Prime locations:

  • Augusta (2615 August Drive, Houston TX 77057) from 10:30am – 2:00pm
  • Kirby (2902 Kirby Drive, Houston TX 77098) from 10:30am – 2:00pm
  • Memorial Park (1001 E Memorial Loop Drive, Houston TX 77007) from 7:00am – 2:00pm.

Becks Prime has had a longstanding relationship with Trees for Houston and preserving the over 400-year-old oak trees at the Augusta and Westheimer location. Any remaining seedlings will be planted at a Trees for Houston tree farm.
